I welcome you to Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. We are not a museum of ancient saints for you to observe but rather a hospital for the broken, the hurting, the frail and the lost. We believe that God has called us to pierce the darkness with the light of His Truth and to dispense His love to those who are hopelessly searching for someone who cares and something that has meaning.

Pastor Duncan received his BA in Christian Studies from Campbellsville College in Campbellsville, Kentucky in 1989. He received his Masters of Divinity from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky in 1989. Pastor Duncan also received his Ph.D in Expository Preaching at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2011.

Pastor Duncan has been married to Sandy Hostetler for 30 years. They have three children: Kalah Hester, Josh Duncan, and Seth Duncan; and two grandchildren: Warren Hester and Madelynne Hester.

Pastor Duncan enjoys fishing, reading, sports, spending time with his family and playing with his grandson.

Pastor Duncan has served as pastor of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church since July 2004. Before that he pastored First Baptist Church in Jasper, Indiana for 7 years.
