Date: August 1, 2010
Size: 22.7 MB

Jeremiah 29:1-14; Pastor Duncan reminded us that when we find ourselves in exile, when we find ourselves immersed in a period of darkness, we must seek God. Pastor shared with us three truths we must grasp when we find ourselves in the darkness: when you find yourself in the darkness, don't give up, God is with you; when you find yourself in the darkness, know it will end, God will sustain you; and when you find yourself in the darkness, search for God with all your heart and you will find Him.

Psalm 34:17-22; Pastor Duncan shared with us that when we are crushed in spirit and going through difficult times, there is a God who is always present with us. And Finally, Do you know that your God is worth the pursuit?

Size: 25.9 MB

Psalm 24: 5-6; Pastor Duncan shared with us some things we must do if we are to truly meet God in worship. He told us we must be sure our hands our clean (evaluate where you have been throughout the week), we must be sure our hearts are pure (evaluate your priorities and allegiances), and we must not swear deceitfully (make sure your worship has integrity, be sure you are placing your full trust in God and God alone).

Title: What Will It Take for God to Bless America
Date: July 4, 2010
Size: 25.4 MB

1 Chronicles 4:10; Pastor Duncan relates several intriguing facts concerning the foundaiton of America and the forming of our constitution that reveal just how far we have transgressed from the godly foundation that our nation once knew. In light of our nation's spiritual downturn, Pastor asks the question: What will it take for God to bless America? Pastor Duncan then exposes the text commonly known as "the prayer of Jabez" and reveals to us that if we are going to be blessed as a nation then the church must pray for God's blessing, pray for increased responsibility (step up as leaders), pray for God's Hand of favor to be upon their lives, and pray for God to protect them from evil.

Date: June 13, 2010

1 Thess 5:1-11; Pastor Duncan reminded us that the primary concern of the coming of the Lord is not "when" is He coming, but rather, will he find us ready? In light of this concern, Pastor Duncan shares with us three things that we must do in light of the coming of the Lord: We must be informed concerning the coming of the Lord, we must glorify God with our lives, and we must embrace the atoning sacrifice of Jesus.

1 Thess 4:13-18; Pastor Duncan shared with us that for the Christian death is not the end, but only the beginning of a glorious life with God.
